TYR Sport Cup — Wodapalooza

The Brief:

The Wodapalooza team brought us in to create a 3D animated explainer for the second annual TYR Sport Cup, a head-to-head showdown happening Sept 19–21 in SoCal. The goal was to hype the event and make the format clear and exciting for fans.

What We Made:

WZA had already been running an athlete trading card theme across social, so we leaned into that nostalgia. We concepted a custom 3D binder inspired by the trapper keepers we all used for Pokémon cards back in the day—each page a stage to introduce teams, events, and details.

What We Delivered:

We designed and 3D-modeled the binder, recreated WZA’s athlete card layouts to hold footage and info, and built the full scene in Cinema 4D + Redshift. Then we animated cinematic camera moves to take viewers through the binder, timed everything to VO, and layered in sound design to punch it up.

The Results:

Rolled out across WZA’s socials leading up to the event
Helped fans quickly understand the competition format
Positive reactions from both the WZA team and community
Racked up solid social media metrics
