Case Study: Four Loko Cosmic Punch Launch

When Four Loko and Barstool Sports teamed up to launch their wildest flavor yet—Cosmic Punch—they wanted something as loud, weird, and unforgettable as the drink itself.

So they called in Motion Marks to bring the chaos to life in 3D.

With full creative freedom and a single direction (“the weirder, the better”), we cooked up an out-of-this-world animation packed with neon energy, galaxy vibes, and punch-you-in-the-face motion. The final spot was built for Barstool’s Rough N’ Rowdy boxing broadcasts and blasted across both brands’ social platforms.

In true Loko fashion, subtlety was not invited.

What We Made

  • A fully custom 3D animation – Built from scratch to hype up the launch of Cosmic Punch, Four Loko’s newest, boldest flavor.

  • Visual chaos, controlled – Neon environments, cosmic textures, trippy transitions, and surreal camera work made the animation feel just as intense as the drink.

  • Creative concepting from the ground up – With zero constraints (aside from “make it weird”), we crafted a visual language that felt fresh, chaotic, and undeniably Loko.

  • Sound design included – We layered in glitchy, high-energy SFX to match the animation’s intensity and make it broadcast-ready.

How It Turned Out

This wasn’t your average beverage ad—it was a punch to the face (in a good way). The final animation dropped inside Barstool’s Rough N’ Rowdy broadcasts and hit both Four Loko and Barstool’s socials, injecting their feeds with color, energy, and a whole lot of WTF.
